Computer Systems Analysts, Journeyman - Brandes Associates : Job Details

BAI, a defense contractor, is seeking a Computer Systems Analyst, Journeyman with 3+ years' experience for Department of Defense program onsite at Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake in Ridgecrest, CA and/or Point Mugu Naval Base in Camarillo, CA. The typical annual salary range for this position is $80,230.00 USD to $121,800.00 USD. Salary will be based on current qualifications, directly related experience, geographic location, and possible contractual requirements which could fall outside of this range.

• Analyze science, engineering, business, and other data processing problems to implement and improve computer systems.
• Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations.
• May analyze or recommend commercially available software.
• A Journeyman level person typically performs all functional duties independently.
• Develop and run algorithms.
• Reviews program plans for specific weapons systems, sub-systems, and equipment or information technology systems.
• Working at the customer's site with government personnel to ensure program success.

• 3-10 years of experience performing the duties described in the Functional Description and Responsibilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—verbal, non-verbal, written, and listening—for staff, customer and organizational level communications, both formal and informal.
• Ability to work independently; self-starter.
• Working knowledge and use of Microsoft Office suite programs, MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

Degree: BA/BS degree in a Computer, Information Science field, Mathematics or a relevant technical discipline.

Allowable Substitution: 6 Years additional work experience, or an Associates' Degree plus 4 years additional work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.

Condition of Employment: Applicant must have an active DoD Secret Level Clearance. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
