Computer Consultant II, Engineering and Computer Science - Syracuse University : Job Details

The Computer Consultant II is the single point of contact for the assigned department for all IT needs, requests, purchase recommendations, and support covering desktop hardware and software, remote access solutions, and tablets and/or smartphones. This position is critical to the ongoing operations responsible for providing elevated computer and application support. Education and Experience Bachelors degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 3 years of experience supporting Windows XP and/or Vista. Skills and Knowledge Understanding of networking, IT hardware, Windows 11 deployment, software and how it interacts with the operating system, printer and printing capabilities, cell technologies as they pertain supporting client devices, and mobile computing platforms Please note a valid Drivers License and a vehicle are required for this position.
