Computer Based Training Developer

The Computer Based Training Developer supports the federal client in developing an interactive e-Learning asset catalog for various training efforts using rapid e-Learning authoring tools such as Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline, Storyline 360, Photoshop, Illustrator, Camtasia, SnagIt, Premiere Pro, Audition, MS Word, Excel, and Acrobat or comparable tools.

Essential Requirements
  • Ability to obtain and maintain the required security clearance for access to classified information and facilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in education, computer-related training and development, or equivalent experience (minimum 3 years).
  • Strong experience in adult learning, training development, and asynchronous course creation.
  • Experience with USPTO or Intellectual Property is highly preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction at all organizational levels.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, index, and maintain technical documentation and online training courses.
  • Monitor feedback and system development to improve documentation and courses.
  • Create e-Learning content, including web-based and computer-based training.
  • Review scripts and storyboards, provide voiceover scripting, recordings, and audio enhancements.
  • Utilize storyboarding and prototyping techniques to clarify project scope with SMEs.
  • Develop assessments to evaluate learner progress and knowledge retention.
  • Ensure compliance with Section 508 and other accessibility standards.
  • Provide professional customer service and communication with clients, SMEs, and colleagues.
Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least three years of relevant experience or equivalent combination.

Physical Demands

Primarily office/home office work requiring sitting, handling objects, operating tools/computers, speaking, and hearing. Accommodations may be provided for disabilities.
