Koniag Emerging Technologies, LLC is seeking a skilled Computer Based Training Developer to create engaging and effective eLearning solutions. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise in eLearning development tools with creative abilities in multimedia production and instructional design. This role focuses on developing interactive, accessible, and high-quality training materials while maintaining technical documentation standards.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include but are not limited to:

The Computer Based Training Developer will be responsible for creating comprehensive eLearning solutions and maintaining technical documentation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Design and develop interactive eLearning courses using various authoring tools

  • Create and maintain technical documentation on the Intranet

  • Develop comprehensive eLearning asset catalogs

  • Create and edit audio/visual content for training materials

  • Design and implement course assessments

  • Ensure Section 508 compliance in all materials

  • Develop storyboards and prototypes

  • Provide voice-over services and audio production

  • Monitor and incorporate user feedback

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders

  • Maintain quality standards in all training materials

  • Support documentation improvement initiatives

Education and Experience:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Educational Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • Demonstrated experience in eLearning development

  • Experience with virtual learning delivery

  • Strong background in technical documentation

  • Proven track record in training development

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Proficiency in eLearning authoring tools (Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline, Storyline 360)

  • Expertise in multimedia software (Photoshop, Illustrator, Camtasia, SnagIt, Premiere Pro, Audition)

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

  • Experience with Section 508 compliance requirements

  • Excellence in audio production and editing

  • Strong storyboarding and prototyping skills

  • Project management capabilities

  • Superior communication abilities

  • Understanding of adult learning principles

  • Assessment development expertise

  • Technical writing skills

  • Customer Service Orientation

Desired Skills and Competencies:

  • USPTO or Intellectual Property experience

  • Advanced certifications in eLearning development

  • Experience with Learning Management Systems

  • Knowledge of SCORM standards

  • Expertise in accessibility standards

  • Advanced audio/video production skills

  • Experience with responsive design

  • Knowledge of instructional design principles

  • Background in technical documentation systems

  • Experience with version control systems

  • Knowledge of web development technologies

  • Experience with animation software

  • User experience design skills

  • Performance consulting experience

  • Change management capabilities
