The Strategic Division (SD) supports high-reliability organizations including Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), US Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM), Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center, and the Department of Energy (DOE). Our support expands rapidly and includes services such as data analytics and visualization, threat analysis, risk management, modeling and simulation, cost estimating, earned value management, program management, system engineering, independent evaluation, and High Consequence Event prevention.

The Strategic Systems Analysis Group (SSAG) supports government and private sector strategic planning, decision making, and program management. SSAG integrates client knowledge, analytics, and expertise to provide timely and objective analysis across technical, operational, programmatic, acquisition, and policy areas.

We have an immediate need for a Computer and Information Research Scientist.

Provide support for USSTRATCOM Global Operations Center (GOC) mission system services. Design computer information systems to deliver specific data management solutions. Develop methods for collecting, organizing, interpreting, and classifying data for input and retrieval. Apply knowledge of electronic data processing, system capabilities, mathematics, symbolic language, and pattern recognition. Resolve issues related to data input, storage, and retrieval, and develop alternative designs.

Required Qualifications:

• Maintain a Top Secret (TS) security clearance and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), Nuclear Command and Control - Extremely Sensitive Information (NC2-ESI), NATO, and SAR classified programs.
• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information systems, operations research, or systems analysis.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in strategic deterrence and global strike planning, with deep knowledge of NC2 and NC3 operations, strategic nuclear operations, joint operations, warfighting doctrine, CCMD structure, and global command and control.
• Experience in research, development, and testing of modernized capabilities supporting USSTRATCOM GOC and other operations centers at DoD levels for at least 3 years.

Desired Qualifications:

• Masters or PhD in relevant technical disciplines.
• Knowledge supporting modernization of survivable NC2/NC3 capabilities.
• Understanding of national, DoD, and CJCS guidance, including Emergency Action Procedures and Presidential Policy Directives.
