Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Manufacturing Engineer located in Brookings, SD. The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing manufacturing processes, designing mechanical systems, performing machining operations, and applying principles of industrial and mechanical engineering. Day-to-day tasks will include continuously improving production efficiency, ensuring product quality, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance manufacturing capabilities.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Manufacturing Processes and Manufacturing Engineering
• Background in Industrial Engineering and Mechanical Engineering
• Experience with Machining operations and techniques
• Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
• AutoCAD / Draftsite
• 3-D design software such as Solid Works or Pro-E
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• Experience in the metal fabrication industry is a plus
• Ability to work on-site in Brookings, SD
