This position will be providing support in and out of the classroom, as needed by students and the instructor. Minimum Qualifications
- Demonstrated competence (at least an A-) in ENGL 101, Rhetoric & Composition or a comparable course.
- Completed the equivalent of two years of college course work.
- Strong foundation in reading and writing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Prior experience with teaching or tutoring.
- Candidate must be committed to student retention and success and display exceptional interpersonal and team-working skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Arts in English or related field.
- Two years' experience working at the college level.
Months Per Year 8 Hours Worked Per Week 5 hours per week Work Schedule Mondays and Wednesdays, 8:30-10:50 AM EST. Office hours are determined in collaboration with supervisor.
