Position Overview:

Join the dynamic team of Freddie Mac as a Compliance Examiner Business Lead within our innovative Single-Family Acquisitions team. In this pivotal role, you will conduct on-site or virtual examinations and quality assurance reviews, ensuring our financial activities align and comply with both federal and state laws and regulations. Engage directly with financial institution management to share insights and collaborate on enhancing operational effectiveness.

Your expertise will drive the creation of comprehensive reports that highlight key risks and evaluate operational success. Our Impact:

The Single-Family Acquisitions Team is responsible for managing compliance and operational risk for the division.

Your Impact:

In this role, you contribute your knowledge of single-family risk management to:

  • Conduct Risk Assessments.
  • Evaluate effectiveness of Counterparty's risk management program.
  • Drive key organizational objectives independently or contribute as a team member.
  • Administer the Counterparty Operational Risk Evaluation (CORE) questionnaire.
  • Evaluate the Seller/Servicer compliance with the Freddie Mac guide.
  • Focus on essential strategic initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of accountability by embodying the values you promote.
  • Lead a culture that prioritizes and supports team member professional growth.

Qualifications:

  • 8 - 10 years related experience.
  • College Degree or equivalent experience; advanced studies/degree preferred.
  • Deep understanding and experience with risk management and controls.
  • Ability to communicate and present to all levels of management including executive leadership.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills with sharp attention to detail.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel experience, preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $129,000 - $193,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant. #J-18808-Ljbffr
