Salary Range: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 Annually
Role and Responsibilities
The Compliance Director serves as the Compliance Officer and is the focal point for HCR's Compliance Program and is responsible for day-to-day operations of the Compliance Program . This key role will also serve as the HIPAA Privacy Officer.
Essential Functions
Direct and oversee an effective, comprehensive Compliance Program including training, as well as developing policies and procedures, and standards of conduct, in accordance with Federal and State laws, rules and regulations .
Lead the Compliance Committee.
Investigate matters related to compliance including: documenting, coordinating, and reporting corrective action .
Provide update(s) to the Audit Committee on Corporate Compliance activities and Corporate Committee meeting minutes.
Provide annual compliance report to the Board of Directors.
Develop and manage HIPAA training program.
Oversee and enforce patient privacy rights and HIPAA Privacy Rule.
Management of the Compliance, Medical Records, and Orders Management teams.
Other duties related to Federal and State regulations including: monitoring company activities and conducting audits.

Education Requirements
Qualifications and Requirements
5+ years in a compliance leadership related position in health care.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Strong documentation and communication skills.
Working knowledge of related NYS DOH regulations, CMS requirements, and other applicable laws.
Work Environment
The Compliance Director is primarily in an office setting and may be exposed to outdoor conditions.
