Job Title:Compliance Analyst ADP Job Code:COMPALYTDepartment:Office of Legal & Regulatory AffairsReports to:Director, Regulatory AffairsFLSA Status:Non-Exempt (Hourly)Grade:13Salary Band:ProfessionalUpdated:November 8, 2022Summary The Compliance Analyst is responsible for accurate and timely preparation, filing and maintenance of all corporate licenses, certificates of authority and other regulatory or corporate filings including, but not limited to, Form filings, Secretary of State filings, Provider Registrations and Renewals and applications for licensure. Such duties and responsibilities also include tracking and updating the corporate/regulatory filing requirements and providing periodic status reports to management. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Prepare filings for regulatory review and communicate with regulators as necessary to secure approvals of product contracts, company licenses and registrations.
  • Possess and maintain knowledge and expertise regarding forms, processes, relationships and all aspects of APCO's products, services, processes and business units.
  • Be aware of impending developments in the law or the industry by attending industry trade group conference calls and communicating information to manager.
  • Effectively communicate with insurer and state regulators regarding filings as well as other compliance or regulatory matters or questions as required. Maintain a positive working relationship with insurers and state regulators.
  • Specifically, when items have been identified to potentially be outside of expected norms, the Analyst will escalate to management cases requiring further investigation
Education and Experience
  • Associate degree or minimum 2 years' experience in regulatory compliance of service contracts and automobile ancillary products or related field (insurance, financial services).
  • Experience in legal research and review of laws.
Skills
  • Working knowledge of Automobile laws and regulations preferred
  • Ability to interpret regulations and laws
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work and meet deadlines.
  • Must have good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team framework

  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, InDesign).
