Our healthcare client in the Anderson SC area is looking for a Compensation Specialist for a Fulltime and ONSITE position. Job Title: Compensation Specialist Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Compensation Specialist to join our HR team. This role is responsible for evaluating and researching job positions to ensure the company remains competitive in total compensation offerings. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing compensation program by conducting market research, participating in compensation surveys, performing market adjustment calculations, and preparing proposals. The Compensation Specialist will also collaborate with the HR talent acquisition team to ensure fair and equitable compensation for candidates based on their qualifications and experience. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular market research and participate in compensation surveys to assess market trends and ensure the company's compensation packages remain competitive.
- Evaluate job positions and recommend adjustments to compensation structures to align with industry standards and organizational goals.
- Develop and implement compensation proposals for market adjustments, ensuring fairness and consistency.
- Collaborate with the HR talent acquisition team to assess candidate experience and develop equitable compensation offers for new hires.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of compensation trends, labor market conditions, and relevant regulations.
- Assist in the design, analysis, and implementation of incentive programs and employee benefits related to compensation.
- Support internal audits and compliance with compensation-related policies, laws, and best practices.
- Provide guidance and recommendations to HR leadership and management on compensation issues.
Qualifications: Required:
- Associate's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in human resources, preferably in compensation or a related area.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) or similar software.
- Strong knowledge of human resources laws, regulations, and best practices related to compensation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.
- Experience in healthcare human resources is a plus.
- Previous experience in large-scale compensation analysis and strategy.
