The Role We're looking for a strategic and analytical Compensation Manager to lead the design, implementation, and administration of our compensation programs. This role is critical in ensuring our pay practices are competitive, equitable, and aligned with our business goals. You'll partner with HR, Finance, and business leaders to drive data-informed decisions that attract, retain, and reward top talent.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Compensation Strategy & Design
    • Develop and manage base pay, and advise on incentive programs
    • Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to ensure competitive positioning
    • Lead annual compensation planning cycles, including merit increases and bonus programs
  • Job Architecture & Evaluation
    • Maintain job classification systems and ensure consistency in leveling and titling
    • Conduct job evaluations and provide guidance on internal equity and external competitiveness
  • Compliance & Governance
    • Ensure compensation practices comply with federal, state, and local regulations (FLSA, pay transparency laws, etc.)
    • Support audit and reporting requirements related to compensation
  • Analytics & Reporting
    • Provide compensation insights and dashboards to HR and business leaders
    • Analyze trends in pay equity, turnover, and workforce demographics to inform strategy
  • Stakeholder Partnership
    • Advise HR Business Partners and leaders on compensation decisions and policy interpretation
    • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to develop competitive offers and compensation packages

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related field
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in compensation or total rewards
  • Strong knowledge of compensation principles, market pricing, and regulatory requirements
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with compensation tools (e.g., Radford, Mercer, Payfactors)
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills
  • CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) preferred
