As a Home Instead Caregiver, your role may include:
- Providing companionship and engaging conversation.
- Preparing meals and cleaning up afterward.
- Assisting with personal care tasks, including bathing and grooming.
- Helping with toileting and incontinence needs.
- Reminding clients about medications and appointments.
- Performing light housekeeping tasks (dusting, vacuuming, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens).
- Transporting clients to appointments and assisting with errands/shopping.
- Providing specialized care for clients with Alzheimer's.
What We Require From You:
No prior experience is needed; we provide paid training!
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Availability for a minimum of 15 hours a week.
- A reliable and insured vehicle, along with a valid Driver's License.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25 lbs.
- Capability to bend, twist, stoop, kneel, and reach.
- Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Willingness to travel within 25 miles of home.
- Basic tech skills (e.g., using a cell phone app) are needed.
