Compassionate Caregiver / HHA - Home Instead Senior Care : Job Details

Join our dedicated team at Home Instead, where we are committed to enhancing the lives of aging adults in our community. We are seeking compassionate and understanding Male Caregivers, preferably HHA certified, to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients.

In this fulfilling role, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Providing companionship and engaging in conversation
• Assisting with light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Reminding clients to take medications and attend appointments
• Caring for clients with Alzheimer's and other memory-related challenges
• Delivering personal care services with dignity and respect
• Communicating with clients in a friendly and congenial manner

To succeed in this position, you must be able to:

• Honor the dignity and respect of seniors and their property
• Pass a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screen
• Have some experience in caregiving; HHA certification is preferred, but skills training will be provided by Home Instead
