The family is seeking someone kind, steady, and reliable who will become a long-term part of their grandparents' daily lives. Children: None Home Size: Multi-level residence with private caregiver accommodations Pets: No pets Household Staff: A nurse visits daily for medical needs Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook all meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
  • Grocery shopping and general errands
  • Light housekeeping: laundry, dishes, tidying, making beds
  • Medication reminders and basic supervision
  • Assist with bathing, dressing, and hygiene as needed
  • Drive to appointments and outings (vehicle provided)
  • Provide companionship, structure, and emotional support
  • Monitor behavior and health changes and report to family
Ideal Candidate & Personality The ideal candidate is nurturing, confident, and emotionally intelligent. They should be calm, patient, and capable of setting healthy boundaries while maintaining a respectful and caring presence. A sense of humor, a non-reactive nature, and experience working with dementia or challenging personalities are important for this role. The family is looking for someone who is committed to long-term placement and will serve as a steady, trusted presence in the home. Requirements
  • Prior experience working with elderly individuals, particularly those with dementia
  • Excellent references
  • Legal to work in the United States
  • CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Fluent English speaker
  • Non-smoker
  • Nursing background or elder care certification is a strong plus
Living Accommodations: The caregiver will have a private floor with their own living room, kitchenette, and bathroom. All meals and utilities are included.
