Companion Care Needed - Care.com : Job Details

Hyannis - Part-time caregiver needed for my husband, 83, who has ALS. Tasks include safe transfers from bed to wheelchair using a mechanical lift which does most of the work but need to be strong enough to turn him in bed (training provided), light meal prep and feeding. 10 or more hours a week depending on the right candidate. Greatest need for 8-11 a.m. Tuesday. Also some evening shifts. Rate: $35 an hour, taxed income. CORI approval required for a home-based VA program. Compassion, patience and reliability are key.
