Community Services Officer I - Syracuse University : Job Details

The Community Service Officer position provides security guard duties for fixed security posts at various locations on campus, as well as backup coverage in various zones on campus. This position performs a variety of security, safety, and community service duties associated with the protection of life and property, maintenance of order, crime detection and prevention, and the enforcement of all University rules, policies and procedures. Education and Experience An Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred. Previous experience in a collegiate setting is preferred. Must be able to obtain a New York State Security Guard license and meet department and New York State Security Guard Act standards and qualifications.
