Responsibilities
The Community Outreach Liaison will play a pivotal role in managing communication and driving business development for HarmonyCares Medical Group. This position serves as the local market representative, fostering relationships with community partners and potential patients while educating them about our mission and services. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting market analysis and identifying competitive advantages for our services among external referral partners.
- Building community awareness of our mission to provide high-quality, personalized healthcare at home.
- Achieving or exceeding established goals for in-person and virtual meetings with key decision-makers.
- Understanding and communicating eligibility and enrollment processes for HarmonyCares Medical Group.
- Facilitating benefit enrollment and providing relevant education as requested.
- Tracking performance in CRM to ensure adherence to budgeted targets for the assigned region.
- Scheduling discussions with patients and caregivers to guide them on eligibility for various programs.
- Informing patients about programs related to accountable care organizations and assisting with alignment when desired.
- Managing inbound calls from patients, families, and facility personnel about our services.
- Triage patient inquiries regarding care needs, scheduling, and billing accurately and professionally.
- Documenting outreach activities and meetings with external contacts.
- Complying with all company policies, procedures, and applicable legal requirements, particularly regarding marketing practices.
- Adhering to HIPAA privacy standards and maintaining consistent communication with leadership.
- Performing additional duties as needed.
Qualifications
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree or four years of experience in B2B sales.
- Three years of experience in healthcare-related sales/marketing.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to represent our services effectively.
- Familiarity with sales techniques and territory management.
- Exemplary interpersonal communication, presentation, and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory and participate in sales meetings.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Strong organizational capabilities.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Self-motivated individual who is capable of performing at a high level with minimal oversight after training.
