COMMUNITY LIVING CLINICIAN - KidsPeace Childrens Hospital : Job Details

The Community Living Clinician ensures that all youth develop life skills and obtain tools and resources needed to be successful in reintegration back into the community. QUALIFICATIONS: Master s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Human Services or related field required. Master s degree in Vocational Rehabilitation preferred. Experience working children and adolescents in a mental and/or behavioral health setting preferred. Prior experience providing clinical services required, prior experience with providing Life Skills Preferred. Valid driver s license required. JOB DUTIES: Assist in the performance of and observation of restraints as necessary when ordered by a licensed professional using the current approved KidsPeace restraint methodology on youth who may weigh in excess of 250 pounds and who are physically threatening or otherwise presenting a threat to themselves or others.
