If so, Hands of Hope wants to meet you!We are seeking a part time Community Education Coordinators to lead dynamic and impactful educational programs across Grant County. In this role you will organize and conduct educational programs in both private and public-school settings, while also being a liaison between Hands of Hope and local schools to facilitate outreach and awareness programs.Other Administrative duties include:
- Report Generation: Submit monthly written and statistical reports to the Hands of Hope Director regarding program progress and outcomes.
- Evaluation and Progress Tracking: Use pre- and post-program evaluation tools to assess the effectiveness of education programs. Submit progress reports to funding sources, summarizing evaluation data.
- Compliance: Stay informed and compliant with local, state, and federal regulations, ensuring all programming meets necessary standards and guidelines.
- Program Coordination: Ensure all educational programs adhere to the operational, regulatory, and compliance standards set by the agency, state, and federal regulations.
- Budget Oversight: Collaborate with the Hands of Hope Director to monitor and ensure that program spending aligns with grant allocations.
- Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records for financial and statistical reports required for funding and compliance purposes.
QualificationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum bachelor's degree in education, social work, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Clear understanding of healthy vs. unhealthy relationships and their societal impact.
- Previous experience in similar roles, either paid or volunteer, is highly encouraged.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
- Strong understanding of topics related to advocacy.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when needed.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including public speaking and presentations.
- Proficient in technology use, including social media platforms and digital tools for educational content creation.
- Ability to motivate and engage diverse groups in educational activities.
- Knowledge of nonprofit agency operations and governance.
- Familiarity with the role of advocacy within support structures and the legal system.
