You will actively interact and engage with community members, provide solutions and offerings, and support them in discovering opportunities at the YMCA.Salary starts at $16.60 per hour, flexible scheduling, and opportunities to grow within the organizationScope and ResponsibilityGreet community members and guests and make them feel welcome and engagedAnswer phones and email inquiriesActively manage customer transactionsSupport facility operations by partnering with local Community Hub leadership to ensure community spaces are clean at all timesAnticipate individuals' needs in order to accommodate them and provide an exceptional customer experienceMaintain inventory of supplies and order new stock, as neededEnsure front desk operations run smoothly and efficientlyConduct hub tours responsive to the needs of prospective customers; sell membershipsRequirementsAt least 18 years of ageEarned high school diploma or GEDAbility to work flexible hours, weekends, and/or holidays, as neededTop-notch verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsBilingual, English/Spanish highly preferredChild Abuse Prevention - Supports the YMCA's commitment to child abuse prevention by:Reporting any items that may provide a health or safety hazard to staff, members or guests to your supervisorFollowing all policies and procedures related to keeping children safe in our facilities and programs, including those related to the monitoring and supervision of childrenReporting any suspicious behavior and violation of policy and procedures to your supervisorCompleting all child abuse prevention training as required Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
