Communications & Engagement Specialist - County of Union North Carolina : Job Details

The Communications Specialist, under the supervisors direction, supports, promotes, and protects the Countys Missions, services, and reputation through strategic and creative marketing and communications efforts. This role serves as the primary Public Communications contact for assigned departments collaborating leadership to manage communications needs. The Communication Specialist develops and executes proactive internal and external strategies, collaborates on the creation of engaging content and materials and leads efforts to enhance public engagement through the Countys digital platforms, including a dedicated public engagement website. This position requires a high level of creativity, organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
