Job Summary:
This position is responsible to develop and implement commodity/supply chain strategies that reduce total landed costs while providing the highest levels of quality and service to each division. Primary activities include the development of commodity strategies, commodity / industry expertise, supplier management, and cost reductions. Leather commodity management experience preferred.Job Description:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties as assigned):
SCOPE & IMPACT:Position is responsible for delivering the annual procurement cost reduction goal which is prorated to each CM based on their % of spend under control. Also manages the entire commercial relationship (pricing, supply agreements) for assigned commodities which typically range from 20-60 suppliers, with an annual spend of $55m - $90m.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
