Commercial Solutions Supervisor - Nucor Harris Rebar : Job Details

Basic Job Functions: The responsibilities of the Commercial Solutions Supervisor include, but are not limited to: •Lead team of business development managers •Establish and develop strong relationships with owners, developers, architects, engineers, and other potential partners •Lead Vulcraft-Verco Group (VVG) business development initiatives – i.e. sustainability, new products, regional accounts, etc •Proactively identify and drive opportunities for Vulcraft and Nucor to provide market-based solutions •Lead major project strategy with strong collaboration across the division, group, and enterprise •Assist Sales Manager in leading all commercial aspects of the business and back up, as needed •Coach and develop direct report sales teammates •Interact and coordinate with the Engineering Manager and team The successful Commercial Solutions Supervisor candidate must be willing and able to travel frequently and be willing to relocate within three years for future advancement opportunities within Nucor. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. Compensation Data: The annual compensation for this role ranges from $119,412 to $160,014. Additionally, it is eligible for a division-earned Return on Assets bonus, which can be up to 33% of annual earnings, with a 10-year average of around 18%. This role also qualifies for our corporate annual Profit Sharing bonus, which has a 10-year average of approximately 14%. Minimum Qualifications: 1.B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering 2.Registered Professional Engineer (PE) 3.Minimum two years experience in a supervisory role 4.Commitment to mobility for promotional opportunities within 3 years Preferred Qualifications: 1.Civil Engineering degree with an emphasis in structural engineering 2.Experience developing new business strategies 3.Experience as a structural engineering specifying professional 4.Experience in a sales or commercial role 5.SAP experience
