Job Title: Commercial Sales LeadBuffalo Pumps is seeking a highly motivated and communicative Commercial Sales Lead to join our team. The role is similar to a sales representative or sales lead. Our Commercial Sales Lead will be responsible for performing essential duties in the sales department, including technical and commercial quotation development, product costing and pricing, contracts administration, sales order execution, customer liaison and order follow up, production planning and support, customer shipment execution, accounts receivable follow up, and documentation creation and submittals.Complete technical and commercial aspects of the quotation process in accordance with company procedures and industry norms.Create costing and pricing standards and incorporate into quotations along with delivery commitments consistent with product planning and capacity.Perform complete sales order entry process and review upon receipt of order. Compile and review all data and information required for order booking and order fulfillment. Track and manage Navy repair process, including contact with customer, and working with production staff to support the repair of pumps and maintaining the government property system.Track sales orders throughout the approval process to ensure timely processing. Facilitate customer order fulfillment by providing the internal departments with relevant delivery, shipping, transportation, pricing, and payment information.Actively participate in engineering and sales continuous improvement process as well as integrating same with Operations' continuous improvement initiatives.Proactively contribute to Buffalo Pumps ' Business Development initiatives.Work with order engineering and order entry in creating BOM, drawings, change orders, job routings and customer contract data submittals.Develop strong functional proficiency in ERP system.Assist the Accounts Receivable department in payment collections and the resolution of payment issues.If you are a self-starter with a passion for sales and customer satisfaction, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.Buffalo Pumps offers competitive benefits, including:

Requirements For this role, we prefer the following: 2 yr. Associates or preferred 4 yr. bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial, international business, accounting, science, or engineering discipline.5-10 years related experienceJob Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Excellent and active verbal and written communication skills.Highly effective planning, organizational, and project execution skillsHigh attention to detail and precisionStrong drive for improvement, initiative, and closureHighly team orientedAbility to work independently with minimal supervision and guidanceProficiency in Microsoft Office products to organize and communicateStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsThe above duties and responsibilities designated as essential job functions are subject to reasonable accommodation.
