RemX Recruiting firm is representing a well-established commercial property management company in Knoxville, TN, for its DIRECT HIRE opportunity for an experienced COMMERCIAL PROPERTY MANAGER.

This onsite role in West Knoxville will work with a close-knit, dynamic team committed to a culture of high integrity, collaboration, and excellence.

WHAT SKILLS ARE WE SEEKING?

• Valid TN Real Estate License or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
• Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation preferred
• Minimum 5-7 years of commercial property management experience
• Strong relationship-building skills demonstrated in work history

WHAT WILL YOU DO IN THE ROLE?

• Negotiate, evaluate, and administer service contracts with vendors and suppliers
• Conduct thorough inspections of tenant, public, mechanical spaces, grounds, etc.
• Provide guidance to clients on building systems, electrical, energy management, plumbing, roofing, fire safety, ADA compliance, security, etc.
• Develop and execute asset plans
• Oversee financial operations, including monthly variance reporting, AR/AP, operating expense reconciliations, and budget preparation
• Address tenant issues and requests; monitor compliance; review new leases and renewals
• Utilize technology (MRI, Avid, MS Office Suite 365) for all duties. Advanced Excel skills are required for complex formulas and analytical tasks.
