Vice President of Asset Management & Property Management at Pegasus | Real Estate Sales Agent

Pegasus Asset Management (“Pegasus”) is seeking a Junior Asset Manager to join our team in Century City. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in commercial, retail, and residential asset management while working in a collaborative and dynamic environment. Pegasus is seeking a professional, meticulous, outgoing individual with a desire to learn the principles of commercial real estate asset management. The candidate must be detailed-oriented, organized, and able to handle several tasks in a fast-paced environment with a can-do attitude.

The Junior Asset Manager that will be an integral member of a rapidly growing commercial real estate asset management firm that focuses primarily on retail real estate assets. The daily job responsibilities will include a wide range of asset management and accounting functions to maximize the performance of the fast-growing portfolio.

The candidate will be exposed to both the investment sales and capital markets divisions, which allows for learning a larger breadth of real estate knowledge and promotes both creative thinking and collaborative problem solving.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants and clients, addressing concerns, providing updates, and fostering strong relationships.
• Assist in resolving tenant issues and de-escalating conflicts professionally.
• Conduct regular property inspections and occasional travel for property-related responsibilities.
• Coordinate work orders with tenants and vendors to ensure timely maintenance and repairs.
• Monitor rent collections and provide clients with regular status updates.
• Assist in preparing budgets and financial review.
• Support the Senior Asset Manager in reporting and overseeing portfolio performance.

Who You Are:

• Bachelor's degree required (Real Estate, Finance, Business, or related field preferred).
• 2-5 years of experience in commercial, retail, and residential property management.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and highly detail oriented.
• Experience with Yardi or AppFolio software is a plus.

This position requires the candidate to be physically located in California. Ideally, candidates should be within a 35-mile commuting distance. The role is onsite at our Century City, California office, and remote work or relocation assistance is not available.
