Project Manager focusing on ground up construction of Office & Retail Projects. Leading a team of 5+ individuals on projects valued at $10Mil+.

Michael Page have partnered with an Expanding General Contractor with a massive portfolio of retail and office projects throughout Oklahoma secured through 2027. They desire hard-working individuals who can be mentored and develop with senior level growth in mind. Our client is seeking a project manager, with experience in Retail and restaurant construction is advantageous. This construction firm offers a wide range of planning and management services.

Job Description

Reporting directly into the VP of Construction, the successful project manager will be responsible for:

  • Run/manage project from start to finish
  • Oversee subcontractors and full construction project on a daily basis
  • Coordinate subcontractors, architects, inspectors, and suppliers to resolve any problems with materials or methods.
  • Establish and maintain an effective and professional on site working relationship with Owners, Architects, Consulting Engineers and other parties related to the project.
  • Enforce a safe work environment, practices and culture on the project.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate must possess the following key attributes to be successful in this role:

  • 5+ years of previous experience working with a General Contractor
  • Held job titles of PM managing over ground up construction projects including offices, retail and/or medical buildings
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field a plus
  • Experience handling commercial projects
  • Strong software and technology skills is a plus
  • Able to communicate and be organized
  • Time Management Skills - making sure everything is on time and completed thoroughly
  • Experience with a team structure a plus
