Commercial HVAC Field Operations Manager - Norlee Group : Job Details

Description

This position is responsible for managing and supervising the day-to-day operations of HVAC projects. The Field Manager will oversee Foremen and field professionals, promote a safety culture, ensure quality and productivity, support on-the-job training, and maintain strong customer relationships. Collaboration with the DOFO, subcontractors, and upper management is essential.

Primary Responsibilities

• Collaborate with DOFO and Group Manager on project lifecycle from start to finish.
• Supervise and coordinate Foreman activities to meet project schedules.
• Work with project managers on work schedules, goals, and site walk-throughs.
• Perform quality control and assist QA/QC processes.
• Train and coach field workforce alongside Foremen.
• Ensure safety compliance and implement corrective actions.
• Assess and assign workforce across markets (Orlando, Tampa, Jacksonville).
• Improve production, efficiency, and reduce costs through planning and meetings.
• Ensure timely submission of payroll and project documentation, including timekeeping, reports, JSAs, and material tracking.
