Position OverviewThe Changeout Foreman is responsible for leading a small crew throughout the installation/replacement of commercial HVAC systems. This role ensures that HVAC systems are installed correctly, function efficiently, and meet all regulatory and safety standards. The Changeout Foreman will work closely with project managers, other technicians, and clients to deliver optimal system performance.
ResponsibilitiesEducation: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: 3+ years of field experience in commercial HVAC installation or repair.
Certifications: EPA Section 608 Technician Certification required. Manufacturer-specific training is a plus.
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems. Proficiency in using HVAC tools and software. Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a focus on finding efficient and effective solutions.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, work at heights over 6ft, and perform physically demanding tasks. Manual dexterity and physical stamina.
Soft Skills: Strong communication and customer service skills. Detail-oriented and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Driver's License: Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
