Now Hiring: Building Engineer - Bryan, TX Pay: $26-$28/hr | Full-Time | Long-Term Contract (Contract-to-Hire Potential) 📍 Location: Bryan, TX 🕗 Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Overtime as needed) Do you have experience in commercial or multi family real estate building maintenance? BGSF is seeking experienced Building Engineers to support a commercial property in Bryan, TX. This is a long-term contract with the possibility of becoming a contract-to-hire role. Work with a top-tier facilities team while gaining exposure to advanced building systems and energy-efficient operations. 🚨 Only candidates with commercial real estate experience will be considered. 🔧 Position Overview As a Building Engineer, you'll be responsible for completing work orders, conducting preventive maintenance, and supporting building operations. You'll report to the Chief Engineer or Director of Engineering and play a key role in ensuring environmental safety, system performance, and tenant satisfaction. Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on building systems and grounds
• Inspect and monitor fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing systems
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing systems, kitchen equipment, HVAC, drains, and roofs
• Maintain building lighting, including element and ballast replacements
• Respond promptly to emergency situations and coordinate with contractors as needed
• Support an energy management program to reduce operating costs
• Complete maintenance records and follow company procedures and safety protocols
• Supervise mechanics and outside contractors on assigned projects
• Perform other related duties as assigned

What You Bring

• 2+ years of experience in building maintenance (commercial property preferred)
• Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building automation systems
• Ability to operate hand and power tools
• Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong customer service mindset and ability to communicate effectively with tenants and teams
• Licenses/certifications (preferred but not required): EPA Universal, HVAC, Boiler Operator, etc.
