Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Collibra Data Quality Technical SME to join our Data Governance Team. You will lead the deployment and optimization of the Collibra DQ platform, support enterprise data quality initiatives, and develop robust integrations with modern data systems. This is a hands-on technical role focused on architecture, application development, and platform operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement data quality checks, validation rules, and anomaly detection using Collibra DQ.
  • Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain the Collibra Data Quality platform.
  • Develop Collibra workflowsAPI integrations, and Java-based solutions
  • Build automated remediation processes and platform workflows.
  • Integrate Collibra DQ with RDBMSSnowflakeREST/Java APIs, and data lakes.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and manage version control via GitHub.
  • Support upgrades, releases, user onboarding, and training for governance stakeholders.
  • Develop microservices and API/Event-Driven Architecture solutions.
  • Provide ongoing support to data stewards and governance teams.

Required Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • 12+ years in Data Engineering and/or Data Governance
  • 5+ years hands-on with Collibra Data Quality (rule creation, configuration, platform management)
  • Proven experience with enterprise DQ platform deployment and customization
  • Strong background in Java, API development, and workflow implementation

Nice-to-Have Experience

  • Development of custom integrations using Collibra APIs
  • Building governance scorecards using Collibra DQ metadata
  • 5+ years of Collibra integration development (connectors, automation, workflows)

Required Skills

  • Installation and administration of Collibra DQ
  • Strong knowledge of SnowflakeRDBMSREST APIs
  • Proficiency in CI/CD and version control systems like GitHub
  • Hands-on with microservices architecture and event-driven systems

Preferred Skills

  • Collibra workflow optimization and user training
  • Advanced troubleshooting and platform support
