Position Description:
Represent Texas Tech University both on and off campus to prospective students, parents, staff, and faculty of colleges and universities to attract quality applicants and achieve enrollment goals. Coordinate and contribute to the success of various visit schedules for colleges and universities in the assigned area. Plan assigned recruiting events and programs. Counsel prospective applicants on the admissions process and opportunities at the university.

Major/Essential Functions:
Identify and implement proactive engagement with school districts and community colleges in Texas, with a focus on eastern Texas.
Develop and execute targeted recruitment plans in collaboration with college administrators.
Organize and participate in recruitment events, both in-person and virtual, to promote undergraduate programs.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create and disseminate engaging recruitment materials, automated communication, and marketing across various platforms.
Analyze enrollment data to inform recruitment strategies and report findings to stakeholders.
Develop an understanding of all undergraduate programs, including program requirements, target audience, resources, and any state certifications offered.
Develop and sustain partnerships with local and regional school districts, education agencies, and community organizations to promote undergraduate programs.
Coordinate outreach efforts between faculty, school administrators, principals, and district leaders to introduce professional development and undergraduate opportunities tailored to their workforce.
Provide reports to faculty about recruitment efforts in department meetings on a standing basis.
Help coordinate website design efforts to include recruiting information (e.g., images, tag lines, selling points).
Monitor national and state trends in undergraduate recruitment and identify additional student recruitment opportunities.
Advise students toward admission by knowing degree requirements.

Experience in higher education admissions and recruitment.
Experience with Banner, Salesforce, and other Texas Tech University systems.
