JOB TITLE: Collars Fabricator 1

REPORTS TO: Collars Manager

LOCATION: Bremerton

SHIFT: Days 5:00 am – 3:30 pm M-TH

PAY: $22.00 - $25.00 DOE

Why we need you and what you'll be responsible for:

SAFE Boats is a high-performance aluminum boat builder with record sales, and we need dedicated individuals to help us build quality boats. In this role, you will operate machinery and perform tasks related to the production and installation of Collars and Collar systems at SAFE Boats International, under close supervision.

What you'll be doing:

• Perform all tasks safely and to quality standards
• Complete tasks within expected timelines
• Sew parts and patterns
• Assemble components using hand and power tools
• Operate CNC cutting table to cut non-skid, carpet, and fabric
• Laminates and forms foam parts
• Use hot air welder to make fabric products
• Operate Radio Frequency welder with minimal supervision
• Assist in collar installations
• Assist in Rhino foam collar fabrication
• Prepare and package finished products for shipping or delivery
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Suggest process improvements to leadership
• Resolve minor challenges or issues

Required Skills and Experience:

• Experience with hand and power tools and equipment
• Ability to safely operate tools and shop equipment
• Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately
• Follow drawings and measurements for fabrication
• Identify parts and locate information efficiently
• Interpret work instructions
• Follow verbal and written directions from supervisors
• Adhere to company policies
• Experience with upholstery is a plus
• Minimum of one year in a similar role or field

Educational Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent; trade school or college training is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to perform physical tasks such as grasping, standing, sitting, walking, kneeling, crawling, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening, hearing, and visual tasks. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
