Coating Process Engineer - NSG Group / Pilkington : Job Details

Establish/maintain management systems in the Coating area to ensure manufacturing process stability, line yields, quality and throughput are at world class levels and continuously improving. Ensure that a commitment to 'Customer First' is embedded within the culture of the department. The incumbent is responsible for applying/ensuring application of appropriate problem-solving techniques (i.e. the eight-step problem solving model, 5-Why) on all significant manufacturing issues to ensure that production problems are resolved in the least amount of time, systems are established to eliminate reoccurrence of the production problems, and process improvement initiatives are implemented on a timely basis.
