Responsibilities

• Supervising children in the program
• Implementing program activities consistent with YMCA core values
• Participating in pre-planning meetings
• Participating in all planned activities including swimming and field trips
• Maintaining the highest safety standards at all times
• Communicating effectively with parents and children
• Assisting with evaluation of the program and planning for next year

Qualifications Include

• Must be able to actively run, jump, and lift a minimum of 1/3 of own body weight
• Must be CPR/AED/First Aid/Emergency O2 administration certified - YMCA can assist with this
