Our client, a leading distributor of high-performance engineering plastic shapes, is seeking a CNC Router Operator to join their team. As a CNC Router Operator, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting the production and machine shop teams. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: CNC Router Operator
Location: Angola, NY
Pay Range: $20-25/hour
Shift: 1st & 2nd available - Monday - Thursday (10 hour shifts)
What's the Job?
Set up and operate CNC router to machine plastic and composite parts
Read blueprints/job orders for product specs, including dimensions, tolerances, and tooling instructions
Select and secure tools in tool holders and position workpieces
Adjust and edit feeds, speeds, and depth of cut
Monitor machine operation and verify machined workpieces meet specifications
What's Needed?
Prior CNC Router Operator experience
High School Diploma/GED
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Forklift Certified or willingness to get certifed. CNC certification a plus
Comfortable working in a warehouse/machine shop environment and lifting up to 75 lbs
