CNC Programmer/Machinist - System One : Job Details

Job Title: CNC Programmer/MachinistLocation: Cranbury, NJType: Direct HireCompensation: $75,000 – $100,000 annuallyCNC PROGRAMMER/MACHINISTSUMMARYCNC Programmer/Machinist to support prototype production through advanced CNC programming and machining operations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in both CNC and manual machining, with exposure to high-precision, engineering-driven environments.WORK SCHEDULEWeek 1: Monday–Friday (Mon–Thurs: 9 hours/day, Fri: 8 hours)Week 2: Monday–Thursday (9 hours/day), with every other Friday offFlexible start time (doors open at 6:30 AM; preferred start around 8:00 AM)Occasional extra hours may be requiredRESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop manufacturing processes and documentation, including tooling selection, work-holding, fixturing, CAM programming, finishing processes, and work instructions
• Program, set up, and operate CNC mills, lathes, Swiss machines, and EDM equipment
• Apply GD&T principles and qualify parts using SMTE (QC support available as needed)
• Maintain schedules throughout the manufacturing phase
• Research and implement the latest in manufacturing technology and processes
• Participate in product development/design reviews and collaborate on production planning

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 3+ years of relevant experience OR 5+ years of hands-on machine shop experience
• Proven background as a Manufacturing Engineer, Machinist, or Toolmaker (portfolio of projects preferred)
• CNC programming and execution experience (required)
• Proficient with Mastercam and SolidWorks
• Hands-on experience with 5-axis machining, live tool lathes, and Swiss lathe machining
• Familiar with controls such as FANUC, HAAS, MITSUBISHI, SIEMENS, and CELOS
• Working knowledge of lean manufacturing practices and ISO 9001/13485 standards
• Strong problem-solving ability
• Macro/Post Processor experience is a plus
