Job Description:
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and optimize CNC programs for various machining operations.
- Set up and operate CNC machines, specifically Swiss Style CNC Lathes.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to create accurate CNC programs.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC equipment.
- Collaborate with engineers and production staff to improve manufacturing processes.
- Ensure quality control standards are met by inspecting finished products.
- Maintain documentation of CNC programs, setups, and tooling.
- Train and mentor junior CNC programmers and machine operators.
Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Associate degree in Manufacturing Technology, Engineering or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Swiss CNC programming and machining.
- Proficiency in CNC programming languages such as G-code and M-code.
- Experience with CAD/CAM software (e.g., NX CAM/CAD, ESPRIT CAM).
- Strong understanding of machining processes and materials.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Experience with multi-axis CNC machines.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
Target Market Salary Range:
$35.00 - $38.00 per hour
