CNC Machinist - Alabama Staffing : Job Details

Snelling is recruiting for an experienced CNC Machinist for the Alabaster, AL area! Night shift starting at 6pm with overtime! Starting pay rate of $22.00-25.00/hr, with increases to come! Duties for CNC Machinist:

• Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering drawings, materials, and machining parameters.
• Interprets geometric dimensions and tolerances.
• Operates overhead cranes/crane hoists to move materials.
• Verifies conformance of workpiece to specifications, using square, mic, and measuring equipment.
• Sets up and operates machines for cutting gears.
• Takes pride in work produced and exhibits a professional attitude.

Requirements for CNC Machinist:

• Must have at least 3-5 years of experience as a Machinist.
• Demonstrated ability to modify material by drilling, grooving, cutting, turning, facing and threading material into parts and holding tolerances to specifications.
• Must pass a math test (basic math, geometry, and trigonometry).
