CNC Machinist - Express Employment : Job Details

Located in Brooklyn Park, MN Salary: $28-30/hrCNC Machinist Job Description:Express Employment Professionals is partnering with one our top clients in the Blaine to fill immediate second shift Temp to Hire machinist openings, pay range up to $30/hr plus $2 shift differential.Responsibilities:The Machinist will work with minimal technical supervision, perform machining and fitting of all kinds of parts, tools, and machines in support of production operations or job shop machining for engineering prototypes. Also must have the ability to lay out work from blueprints, sketches and written specifications to perform production tasks, which may include the cutting and shaping of metal to precision dimensions.Set-up, adjusts, operate and program a variety of machines, which may include manual mills, turret lathes and CNC mills and CNC lathes.Sets up and operate all available machine tools and perform tool adjustments for various types of manual, numerically controlled and computerized machine shop equipment.The Machinist checks and inspects machining operations against specified tolerances. Programs CNC machine tools in the course of making parts.
