Monday-Friday 3:30pm-11:30pm- 10% differential offered $28- $35 an hour Resume required 2nd shift If you are interested in learning more about this opportunity please schedule a time via the scheduler or you can text Chamira at 631.###.#### for additional availibility and details! salary: $28 - $35 per hourshift: Secondwork hours: 3:30 PM - 11:30 PMeducation: No Degree RequiredResponsibilities Set up and / or run multiaxis turning center Work with live tooling Produce parts within tolerance of +/-.0005 Read mechanical blueprints for precision components Apply knowledge of GD&T Inspects parts, including updating inspection report Install and configure cutting tools, tool holders, and fixtures. Operate the lathe machine to execute the machining process. Monitor machine performance, ensuring proper tool operation, cutting conditions, and safety procedures. Adjust feeds, speeds, and tool offsets as necessary during machining to ensure quality and efficiency. Conduct first-article inspections and in-process inspections to check part dimensions and tolerances using precision measurement tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, dial indicators). Verify that finished parts meet customer specifications, tolerances, and quality standards.
