RESPONSIBILITY SUMMARY: Under the direction of the licensed nursing personnel, performs direct and indirect designated resident care within the scope of practice as defined by the certification. EDUCATION:Minimum: Must be able to read and write English Preferred: High School degree or GEDLICENSE:Minimum: Current NYS Nurse Aide Certification. WORK EXPERIENCE: Preferred: Prior Nursing Assistant and/or LTC experience SKILLS:Minimum: Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and ability to deal with the public in a professional and courteous manner.
