CNA - Healthcare Support : Job Details

CNA HealthCare Support is actively seeking a CNA located in Clifton Park, New York. Job Details for this CNA: Shift: 3p-11pm Monday-Friday every other weekend Start date: 7/21 or 2 weeks from offer Duration: approximately 8 weeks Pay: $20-$23/hr Location: 1 Emma Lane Clifton Park, NY 12065 Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provides activities of daily living assistance to the residents as directed from each Resident's Service Plan.
• May asked to assist with cleaning resident rooms, meal deliveries, cleaning common areas, ADLs
• Provides medication reminders and/or assistance according to state regulations.
• Provides verbal encouragement and support to residents.
• Prioritizes tasks to ensure optimum services to residents as requests and needs change.
• Communicate to the Resident Services Director when a resident's need has changed.
• Communicate to other departments as residents' needs arise during the shift.
• Under the Universal Worker Model, the Resident Services Assistant responsibilities can also include housekeeping and dining room duties.
• May drive company vehicle from community to social and other various destinations (only if required by community).
• May perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be a CNA licensed
• Open to different kinds of backgrounds and experience levels, ideally the candidate will have worked in previous Long Term Care or Skilled Nursing Facilities, Residential Homes, etc. previously.
• Main thing here is they need to be accustomed to being in a patient facing environment.
• Must be able to lift up to maximum 40 lbs and be comfortable standing/walking for 2-3 hours per shift.

Onboarding Some of the standard onboarding requirements include:

• Physical exam (must be within 30 days; physicals completed over 45 days ago will need to be repeated)
• TB testing (2-step PPD or blood test; chest X-ray within the past 2 years if applicable)
• Drug screen
• Background check
