Description of the Role:
The Caregiver is a part of the Cornerstone team, a resident-focused, high performance, high commitment work team that supports the motto of creating healthy living and work environments. As a Caregiver, they are responsible for ensuring that quality services are a way of life for this community. A Caregiver is trained to provide personal care and related services to residents in the community according to documented, individualized service and care plans.
Responsibilities:
- Obtains vital signs, records, and notifies the supervising nurse of deviations per Individual Service Plan (ISP)
- May aid with various personal care tasks
- Assists in recording vital signs and other health-related data
- Shares resident success stories and best practices
- Participates in family conferences
- Creates and maintains resident records
- Housekeeping and Safety Compliance Duties
- And more as assigned
Requirements:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in senior resident services, social work, health care, or customer service preferred
- Ability to exert physical force as required
- No communicable diseases
- Drug Free
- Clear Background
