POSITION SUMMARY:

The Certified Nursing Assistant supports Physicians and Nurses in addressing the healthcare needs of patients.

SCHEDULE:

• Full-Time
• Part-Time
• Day Shift
• Evening Shift
• Night Shift

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification from a professional organization in the state
• Compliance with initial and ongoing security clearance requirements
• Acute care experience preferred

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Monitor vital signs, height, and weight
• Assist with PPDs and EKGs
• Draw blood
• Measure and record intake and output
• Assist with treatments such as dressing changes and tracheostomy care
• Follow Universal Precautions and established Infection Control procedures
• Schedule appointments
• Adhere to safety and security policies and participate in disaster drills
• Maintain CPR proficiency and complete annual re-certification
• Assist in cleaning and sterilizing equipment
• Follow security regulations concerning keys, sharps, and controlled medications
