The Cluster Revenue Manager at RMCC APAC will maximize revenue, market share, and profits across multiple hotels through strategic revenue management. This role focuses on developing customer service standards, revenue, and profits to align with Hiltons mission related to profit, people, customer, and quality.
What will I be doing?
As the Cluster Revenue Manager, RMCC APAC, your responsibilities include:
- Ensuring sales and pricing strategies are based on sound commercial judgment through effective analysis and reporting.
- Utilizing systems professionally and efficiently, following company best practices and SOPs.
- Gathering and analyzing information to identify opportunities and minimize risks.
- Engaging with hotel and above-hotel teams to implement and review strategies and controls.
- Collaborating with other functions to exceed customer, owner, and shareholder expectations.
Key areas of Accountability
Profit:
- Following best practices and SOPs to maximize revenue potential and market share.
- Supporting revenue decisions with relevant data analysis using systems and reports.
Quality:
- Adhering to SOPs to ensure data-driven decisions.
- Contributing ideas for continuous improvement.
Customer:
- Building effective relationships with hotel teams to maintain trust in revenue decisions.
People:
- Working with the team to ensure excellent training in revenue analysis and management.
Specific Accountabilities
Inventory Control:
- Managing group and transient inventory controls.
- Reviewing and implementing inventory controls via IDeaS V5i and R&I daily.
- Managing group inventory cut-offs and blackout dates.
- Working with Front Office for sell-out strategies and rate parity.
Sales and Pricing Strategy:
- Developing and monitoring sales and pricing strategies.
- Conducting weekly business reviews and adjusting strategies accordingly.
- Ensuring consistent pricing across channels.
Information Analysis and Monitoring:
- Providing analysis of strategies, room statistics, and demand factors.
- Maintaining data integrity and reviewing performance reports.
Forecasting:
- Preparing forecasts and budgets using appropriate tools.
- Validating forecasts and identifying trends.
Competitive and Demand Analysis:
- Monitoring rate shopping and market trends.
- Analyzing demand calendars and event data.
Driving Commercial Performance:
- Driving EBITDA, RevPar, and market share growth.
- Collaborating with hotel teams to improve KPIs and market share.
What are we looking for?
A Cluster Revenue Manager should:
- Hold a Bachelors Degree or higher.
- Have practical hotel revenue management experience.
- Be proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Possess strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
- Be proactive, self-motivated, and team-oriented.
- Be fluent in English, both spoken and written.
