Clubs Manager - BELMO Info
As a Clubs Manager, you will be responsible for leading and motivating our hourly team members to provide a warm welcome and delicious food to our guests. The ideal candidate will be an experienced operations leader who is focused on people and quality standards our Premium Clubs on-site. This role is based in NYC Area in Belmont Park and Aqueduct Race Track and includes supporting the Saratoga Race Course in Saratoga Springs between July-September.
Detailed Responsibilities
- Ensures all Clubs in Saratoga, Belmont Park and Aqueduct have proper inventory levels and staff.
- Supervising operations during the event and troubleshooting where needed
- Provides operational planning to ensure appropriate teaming levels are met, as well as adequate products ordered to service each event
- Overseeing service standards during events to ensure a high standard of guest experience
- Working with the location leadership team to continually drive improvements in guest satisfaction and financial results
- Trains and conveys brand clarity through the menu, wine, and beverage knowledge
- Holding pre-shift meetings to set the tone for events
- Promotes a positive work environment through hiring/selection of team members, maximizing productivity and morale through team member engagement, and maintaining appropriate staffing levels per business needs
- Maintains state, federal and business compliance, including but not limited to responsible alcohol service guidelines, safety and sanitation standards, and client requirements
- Employs good safety and sanitation practices
- Follows and enforces responsible alcohol service policies
- Executes required daily reporting in a timely manner
- Executes inventory controls
- Ensures team members adhere to Levy guidelines as stated in the team member training manual and employee handbook
- Executes all menu requirements and fulfills all guest-specific service requests
- Ensures all function setups and breakdowns are executed correctly, efficiently, and expeditiously
- Holds team accountable to steps of service to deliver great guest service
- Ensures team members have the tools necessary to complete their jobs
- Uses all performance management tools to provide guidance and feedback to team members
- Promotes a cooperative work climate, maximizing productivity and morale
- Conducts regularly scheduled meetings to ensure lines of communication are open between management and team members
- Ensuring compliance with all Payment Card Information rules
- Interviews, hires, trains, and develops team members according to Levy guidelines
- Displays a positive attitude towards team members
- Other duties, as assigned
Job Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a food and beverage operational position
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management is preferred
- High level of computer and POS literacy
- Passion for hospitality, food, and retail
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills

- Proficient in point-of-sale and inventory systems
- ServSafe and Alcohol Service Certification
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule - including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
