Job Summary:

The Enterprise Cloud Solution Architect will be responsible for creating and executing cloud computing strategies by designing, developing, and managing cloud infrastructure and assets to help a business meet its goals. The position will ensure the deployment of well-architected framework pillars, adherence to best practices, guidance, and recommendations to develop cloud solutions that are secure, resilient, efficient, and managed with operational excellence.

Responsibilities:
  • Design cloud-based storage solutions for structured and unstructured data.
  • Recommend best practices for building secure and reliable applications.
  • Identify and define suitable cloud services to meet technical requirements.
  • Innovate and improve development and delivery processes.
  • Monitor metrics and develop improvement strategies.
  • Provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions, including materials, external services, and internal resources required.
  • Work with source control tools such as Azure DevOps and GitHub.
  • Troubleshoot issues during testing and production phases.
Qualifications:

Who we are looking for:

  • BSc or MSc in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years in developing technology solutions, including operations/engineering, networking, infrastructure/database architecture, and/or applications development.
  • 3+ years in software development.
  • 2+ years in microservice design or containerization.
  • 7+ years with cloud-based solutions on AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.
  • 5+ years with frameworks, architecture patterns, and design patterns.
  • AWS or Azure Solutions Architect or Developer Associate certification.
  • Experience designing flexible architectures, cloud migration, and compliance with GDPR and CCPA.
  • Broad experience across cloud architecture, applications development, databases, analytics, machine learning, security, storage, DevOps, containers, serverless, CI/CD, monitoring, and IT transformation.
  • Expertise with RESTful SOA and microservices technologies.
  • Experience migrating legacy solutions to the cloud.
  • Strong presentation and whiteboarding skills for engaging with technical and executive teams.
  • Leadership skills working with senior management.
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies quickly.
Skills:
  • Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and private clouds.
  • Understanding of IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and FaaS models.
  • Knowledge of the Cloud Shared Responsibility Model.
  • Strong background in authentication protocols like Azure AD, AWS Cognito, OAuth 2.0.
  • Experience with Docker containers.
  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, C#, Python, C++, Java).
  • Ability to interact with cloud-native services through coding.
