As a Cloud Solution Architect - Azure Core, you will work closely with Microsoft's strategic partners to help them achieve their business goals by fully leveraging their Microsoft technology investments. Responsibilities
  • Customer Centricity
  • Gather customer/partner insights and leverage these to align solutions with business outcomes, acting as the voice of the customer.
  • Develop impactful relationships with internal teams and customer/partner technical specialists, proposing solutions based on specific products and demonstrating complex concepts.
  • Support customer skilling and readiness by delivering as a trusted technical advisor, facilitating technical discussions, and transferring knowledge.
  • Contribute to customer satisfaction by providing a positive experience and building remedial actions for dissatisfied customers.
  • Actively listen, challenge customers/partners when needed, and escalate appropriately.
Business Impact
  • Identify issues, advise on performance optimization, and escalate as needed, applying methodology and governance to minimize risks.
  • Work with customers to identify root causes and resolve blockers, applying technical capabilities and shaping requirements.
  • Use knowledge of Microsoft and competitor products to assess needs, identify growth opportunities, and support solution deployment.
  • Understand competitive architectures and demonstrate Microsoft's strengths to customers/partners.
Technical Leadership
  • Leverage development opportunities to learn new technologies and share insights with teams.
  • Participate in external technical community events and contribute learnings internally.
  • Support research and IP creation by identifying gaps and opportunities for reuse and acceleration.
Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field AND 2+ years experience in relevant technologies or equivalent experience.

Other Requirements:

  • Microsoft cannot sponsor work visas for this role.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience in relevant fields or roles.
  • 2+ years experience in customer-facing roles and technical projects.
  • Technical certifications in cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, Google, security).
Compensation

The typical base pay range in the U.S. is USD $83,400 - $167,800 per year, with higher ranges in certain locations.
